A Building of Distinction

about

66 - 67 Great Strand Street is a prestigious period building located in the historic heart of Dublin. Built in the late 1860s as a Quaker educational institute for the Society of Friends. It recently served as a stylish EMEA HQ for ETSY inc.

The restored and exposed building materials of 19th century Dublin comprise an important part of the built heritage of the city. Their showcasing as part of the building’s recent reinvention preserves Dublin’s built fabric for the future, while introducing it to an entirely new generation of enterprise.

The fascinating architectural history and evolution of 66/67 has been eloquently captured in this report authored by Graham Hickey of the Dublin Civic Trust.
